Locations

The geography of Faery is very fluid. You might walk from a friend's cottage in a forest and half a mile later find yourself in a desert.

Characters with particularly strong imaginations, or groups of characters who all agree that a certain area looks and behaves a certain way, can make a certain location solid. This is why the town of Burby remains consistent in location and appearance.

Accommodation
When you character arrives in Burby, they have the option of staying at The Rabbit Hole Hotel until they find a place to live. New arrivals to Faery stay one week free! After that, finding a means to pay is up to you.

Burby is home to a number of attractive apartment buildings, as well as quaint Victorian cottages. Accommodation should be worked out between players if needed, but there is no formal list of who lives where. Be reasonable, and only give your character the type of home they could afford.

Businesses

The Rabbit Hole Hotel
This large building may be one of the first places a new arrival to Burby will see, and for good reason. It acts as a refuge for all the new arrivals to the town, as well as an oasis of calm and whimsy in a sometimes chaotic town. Stay a while and you may even meet its founder, one of Burby's longest residents...

Mr. Chickering's Book Shoppe
The quaint little bookshop may not look like much from the outside, but step inside and you will be amazed. Every wall and surface is crammed with books. Dark and inviting, the book store is full of nooks and crannies to curl up in and escape for a while. Some even say Chickering's holds every book ever written...

The Library Pub
Your local watering hole. Stop by for a pint and a bite to eat, and make sure to join in on open mike night!
